ABOUT THE BOOK
Vincent’s inspirational story began in Luanshya, a small mining town in Zambia, a country of 17 million people and fewer than 5000 golfers. With 7 siblings, he grew up in a two bedroomed house and experienced life without running water and electricity. The captivating tales in this book takes you through his early childhood which was occupied by playing barefoot soccer, hunting for birds and a lifestyle limited to think no further than the confines of his unprogressive community. When his dad introduced him to golf at age 10, it opened up a whole world of new opportunities and began a journey of self-discovery. At 19 years old, without financial backing, he boarded a plane to the United Kingdom where his attempt to pursue golf was strongly tested after defaulting on tuition fees and running out of living resources. His quest for the historic PGA tag brought him to America in 2013. After encountering predicaments in similar fashion to the UK he earned membership to the PGA of America in 2018. This book will inspire you to invoke your greatest strength, trust your instinct and set you on a path to fearlessly go after your wildest dreams.
